Interpreting

What interpreting services are requested most often?

Interpreting services are charged for a one-hour minimum session.They can be requested for several hours, half a business day or a full business day.

We can also provide an interpreter from/to the language you requested on non-business days, if we discuss this in advance.

Occasions that often require interpreting services:

  • Notarized transactions: certification of documents, setting up a new company, granting powers of attorney, real property sales, etc;
  • Business meetings;
  • Business trips;
  • Business lunches/ dinners;
  • Conferences, seminars, etc.

What is consecutive interpreting?

This type of interpreting services is provided by one interpreter– the speaker stops at regular intervals and waits for the interpreter to reproduce the text for the audience. This is usually a favored approach during meetings, round tables, negotiations, some types of short presentations and seminars, press conferences, phone calls, etc.

What is simultaneous interpreting?

Simultaneous interpreting (in a specially equipped booth) is usually performed by two interpreters.The speaker does not wait for the interpreter to reproduce the text; rather, the massage is interpreted in real time and this method is often used during presentations, seminars, press conferences, real-time TV and radio shows, etc.
